Refund Policy

Last updated · June 22, 2026

1. Overview

This Refund Policy explains how billing, cancellations, and refunds work for listin.bio paid plans. It supplements our Terms of Service; if there is any conflict about payments, this policy governs.

2. Merchant of record

Paid plans are sold and processed by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited), which acts as the merchant of record (reseller) for these transactions. Paddle handles checkout, payment, invoicing, taxes, and refunds on our behalf. Any refund is issued by Paddle to the original payment method, so your purchase is also subject to Paddle’s buyer terms.

3. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans renew automatically at the interval you select (monthly or annual). You authorise Paddle, as our payment processor and merchant of record, to charge your saved payment method on each renewal until you cancel.

4. Cancellation

You can cancel any time from your account settings (or by managing your subscription through the Paddle billing portal). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep access to paid features until then, and you are not charged again. Cancelling stops future renewals; on its own it does not trigger a refund of the current period.

5. Refunds

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable, including for partially used billing periods, except where required by law or expressly stated below. We may, at our discretion, grant a refund or credit in cases such as:

  • A duplicate charge, or a charge made in error on our or Paddle’s side;
  • A renewal you contact us about promptly (within 7 days) where you did not use the paid features after that renewal;
  • A sustained service failure that prevented you from using the paid features you were billed for;
  • Any case where a refund is required by applicable law.

6. Statutory rights (EU / UK consumers)

If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you may have a statutory 14-day right to withdraw from a purchase. Because listin.bio is digital content supplied immediately, this right can be lost once you begin using the paid features, where you have asked for the service to start within the withdrawal period and acknowledged that you lose the right by doing so. Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable consumer rights you have under the law of your country of residence.

7. How to request a refund

Email hi@illsn.com from the address on your account, and include your Paddle order or invoice number (it’s on the receipt Paddle emailed you) and a short reason for the request. You can also request a refund directly through the link in your Paddle receipt. We aim to respond within 5 business days.

8. How refunds are processed

Approved refunds are issued by Paddle to your original payment method. The time it takes to appear depends on your bank or card issuer — typically 5–10 business days after Paddle processes it. Any taxes Paddle collected are refunded together with the eligible amount.

9. Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us first — we can usually resolve it faster than a bank dispute. Opening a chargeback without contacting us may lead to suspension of the related account while the dispute is investigated.

10. Taxes

Prices may exclude applicable taxes (including VAT/GST/sales tax). As merchant of record, Paddle calculates and collects any tax due based on your location and adds it at checkout where required; refunds are adjusted accordingly.

11. Free tier and downgrades

The free tier is always available at no cost, so there is nothing to refund on it. If you downgrade or cancel and your account exceeds the free-tier limits, existing content stays in place but is read-only until you bring your usage under the limits or re-subscribe.

12. Changes

We may update this policy as the service grows. When we do, we’ll bump the “Last updated” date above. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase.
